IDSCS2 How can i get a script alert in InDesign Server?

Hi,

How can i get the script alert in InDesign Server CS2 while running the script from terminal?

Can i see the alert(to get the info of the values stored in variables while developing the script) in the Terminal?

If so wat is the syntax that i have to use?

i used alert("Hello");

But this does not report any error nor does it display an alert message in the terminal.

Please tell how can i use the alert syntax?
